LEAD Filipino Action Fund was founded in 2025 as a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization to build grounded national infrastructure to bring Filipino American leadership into public life. We are pioneering power-building concepts that combine cultural advocacy with community development and meeting our people where they are.
Working with our sister 501(c)(3) organization, LEAD Filipino, LEAD Filipino AF will lead civic training, policy dialogues, and champion progressive initiatives, campaigns, and people across California, Nevada, and Texas.
In order to increase the political participation of the Filipino vote, LEAD Filipino AF endorses candidates and elected officials who stand up for Filipino communities and against anti-immigrant, anti-LGBTQ, and anti-DEI opponents. Due to this, LEAD Filipino AF engages in targeted advocacy on specific issues such as legislative scorecards, pointed advocacy flyers highlighting individual elected officials’ stances, and integrated grassroots education efforts.
